Can I use
Dynmark applications to send messages through my mobile SIM card?
Dynmark applications do not support this procedure. However, if you select the response
option “Response to e-txt” our message servers will automatically allocate a (random)
inbound telephone number to your message. Alternatively, if you have rented a dedicated
number then the number your contact sees is always the same, rather than random.
This means they could enter the number as a contact in their phone, and then see
immediately that the text has come from you, since the sender ID will appear as
e.g. “A1 Healthcare”. You can purchase a dedicated telephone number or a keyword
on our short code 60006 from sales@dynmark.com
This will enable customers to contact you directly and you can capture their mobile
for future promotions

Which application
is best for my organisation?

Its breadth of features have been proven to satisfy the most demanding organisations,
from global corporations to sole traders.
Most organisations choose the stand-alone solution, but we recognise that many organisations
find Application Plug-ins or
Developer Solutions meet their needs better.
Do I need
a reply number for people to reply to my texts?
If you select the response option “Response to e-txt” our message servers will automatically
allocate a (random) inbound telephone numberto your message
When your message arrives on the customer handset they will simply be able to reply
to it and the response will arrive in your inbox. This feature is free! You only
pay for messages that you send - not the messages arriving.
If you have rented a dedicated number then the number your contact sees is always
the same, rather than random. This means they could enter the number as a contact
in their phone, and then see immediately that the text has come from you, since
the sender ID will appear as e.g. “A1 Healthcare”.

if someone has read a text I've sent them?
It's not possible to tell if someone has read a text you have sent them, although
you are able to see if the message has been delivered to their phone. Go to the
Summary Report page from within e-txt™, you can choose to look at different time
periods to view detailed reports of the status of all of your messages sent and
received. You can download these to CSV to see more information.
Can I send
messages to non UK countries and at what cost?
Yes, as long as you import the numbers in international format with the country

Credits last for one year.
What is
the difference between an online service, a hosted solution, or an on-premise application?
By far the easiest and most cost-effective way to use Dynmark Direct is via our
on-line service, which, for the technical types, is a multi-tenanted Software as
a Service (SaaS) application. It is provided to you from our service platform, which
has been architected to ensure bullet-proof 24x7 high throughput availability. It
is also supported by our 24x7 support team that takes calls so you get support when
you need it.
Hosted Dynmark Direct is a good compromise between SaaS and On-Premise. Your servers
are hosted in our data centres but are not shared with other customers and only
you and your account management team have access to these. So while not as cost-effective
as SaaS the total cost of ownership is lower that On-Premise because our IT team
look after the day to day running and administration of your hosted servers. Mind
you still have to pay for your dedicated servers and software.
An on-premise application involves integrating Messaging services into an existing
application. The HTTP Services are for those who do not want to develop a whole
application but wish to extend the functionality further by entering a URL. For
more information regarding our HTTP Services and / or to download the documentation,
please email SDK Support.
